An Afternoon at Rimba & Rusa

I'm currently so addicted to PERFECTO's popcorn! Ultimate Caramel is my favorite. Well, it's the only flavor that I've tasted so far lol

Hey Guys! How's your Saturday?I just came back from the Big Bad Wolf! I thought the crowd would be lesser at midnight but nooo it was kinda crowded. We left at 1am and the crowd keep on coming. I didn't know that Malaysian love to read?*sarcastic*. So earlier today I had a great time with my besties! We went to Rimba & Rusa for bruch...or lunch. Saw my friends posted tons of food photos on the Instagram and they looked so tempting! So I had to go and try. Straight away I asked my friends, the kinda friends that when you see good foods, you'll straight away think of them haha.

You see, I'm kinda a foodie myself. I'm open to try new things. I'm not that picky when it comes to food. Although, I don't really like anchovies (ikan bilis). So Rimba  & Rusa is located at Sunway Nexis, Kota Damansara. If you know Ikano/The Curve/Ikea, then for sure you can get there easily.

I really like the ambiance and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The foods are quite nice but a bit pricey though. It's kinda like Plan B.

Ciao Carbonara. I really like the thick sauce and it's really creamy!

Nasi Lemak

Pan-seared Salmon with rice.

And of course, dessert is a must!
Tiramisu

Bread Pudding with Ice Cream. I'm not a fan of bread pudding but if my friend (who happens to be a good baker herself) said it's good, then it's good.

A pavlova lover myself surely will order a pavlova. I'm intended to try every pavlova in every places that offers one. This is Rosewater Pavlova with Pistachio. Love the presentation and it's too pretty to eat! For me, it's too sweet!

Nutella Swirl Pavlova. Again, too sweet!

Our total bill was around RM200. Thanks to Juf and Dayang, I don't have to pay a single cent. As part of my birthday treat they said. Sweet I know :)

After that, we went to The Curve for some window shopping. And then of course, our usual hangout place, Papparich. We talked a lot, well technically they talked a lot about Shark Tank! But I kinda enjoy listening to them and now they're making me become part of Shark Tank groupie. Yeah, I'll watch the show right after I finish Game of Thrones okay guys!

xoxo
