Continuous from my first post. You can read it here. Day 2...What can I say about day 2? Let's just say our day 2 was quite pack. We went snorkeling, and again snorkeling lol. The thing is that the snorkeling itself almost took half of our day. So the rest of the day, we went to the beach and then dinner!
Again, you have been WARNED! I'm gonna spam you with TONS of photos!
So we woke up around 9am to get ready for our snorkeling activity at 10:30am which we paid around IDN600,000 for 4 persons. If you chartered a private boat it will be much costly.
Parked our bicycles at the market, then straight to the Jetty. The snorkeling activity will take up to 4 hours coz it's not just one time. We actually stopped at 3 islands (From Gili Trawangan-Gili Meno-lastly Gili Air). I gotta say I'm not a fan of snorkeling, maybe due to the reason that I'm not a good swimmer. But I managed to see a turtle under the sea!
My first time snorkeling and it's the only selfie I took during our entire trip. No kidding!
Strong wind!
Well hello there :D
After snorkeling(s), the boat took us to Gili Air for our lunch break (at your own cost). So we took the time exploring the island.
We settled for local delicacy, Bakso! My first time having Bakso and it was really good! IDR15,000 per bowl.
After that, the boat took us to snorkeling again (last stop), a beautiful spot around Gili Air. Then finally after almost 5 hours, we went back to the market. Had Nuttella creepe again coz I'm a sucker for Nutella!
I think it was a fish/meat ball. Taste weird to me but edible.
Can you spot a horse? :)
Can you get bored of these views? Definitely not!
Went back to our hotel to get ready for our dinner. Cycled to the night market again (not complaning though) and went for food hunting. Since it was our last day, we had our dinner at this quite fancy restaurant. I would say the food there wasn't that bad.
After the dinner, we went window shopping for a while around the night market and then called it a day.
to be continue....
xoxo
