Hey guys! Today I'm gonna post my very first (I think) official food post! I'll be sharing my recipe with you guys. Now, you can easily find this recipe online cause it's not that hard to make. Trust me. It's not.
I woke up this morning, feeling like eating eggs. But then, you're not gonna be full with just egg. At the same time, I was also thinking about veggies. I liked to think that I'm eating healthy. So why not making an omelette? Where I can incorporate veggies with eggs. And thank God my oven is working! So without further ado here's my simple Baked Cheese Omelette recipe.
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
1 tomato
1 small potato
2 spoons of milk
1 slice of cheese
1 pinch of salt
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 180c.
2. Whisk 2 eggs and a pinch of salt as well as 2 spoons of milk.
3. Cut the potato and tomato in cube sizes.
4. Add butter/oil in hot pan. Cook the potato first for about 2 minutes and then put in the tomato.
5. Add the eggs in the pan with medium heat for about 2 minutes. Just enough to get the bottom slightly cook.
6. Use your finger to shred the cheese on top of the eggs. I'm using Chesdale here. Put in the oven and baked for 10-15 minutes.
7. When it's done, sprinkle some Italian coriander on top. I like to eat from the pan while it's still hot!
It was my first time using oven to baked egg and it turned out really good! The cheese and the sweetness from the tomato just perfect! Happy trying!
